Allow me a little history first.  I became aware of the necessity of a Papal Election on September 8, 1987, when I was quoted the infallible decree of the Vatican Council, stating that Peter will have perpetual successors in the Papacy.  Immediatley I began contacting others on this subject and was introduced to Thomas Hempel of Eldridge, Missouri.  We made contact by phone and he stated that he came regularly to Kansas City to sell firewood, so my motehr and I made arrangements to meet with him on a Saturday that fall.  The meeting was interesting.  We discussed the Papal Election and how to bring it about.  He concluded with stating that anyone who did not accept the Pope we elected would not be a Catholic.
In the summer of 1989, two of Tom Hemple's childer were traveling to the west coast of the United States to visit friends.  They asked if they could stop by and viti.  We invited them to come for lunch.  We had a nice conversation and then they departed for Colorado to visit the Benns family.  This indicates they knew how much time it should take from Eldridge to the place of election, since they went right by on the way to the Benns house.
Thomas Hemple also never indicated he was coming, despite being sent a summons.  And so at 10:15 We, recently elected as Pope, are informed of the arrival of Thomas Matthew and Albert Hempel.  Tom asked if the election had been compelted, and We replied it had.  Then We asked him if he accepted Us as Pope.  He replied that he did not.  Then we simply said: You are dismissed.  Later We wrote to him and remineded him of his statement in Kansas City in 1987.

V/ That they all may be one, as Thou, Father, in Me and I in Thee; that they also may be one in Us; that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me. (John xvii: 21.)
V. I say unto thee, that thou art Peter;
R. And upon this Rock I will build My Church.
V/ LORD Jesus Christ, Who saidst unto Thine apostles; Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; regard not our sins, but the faith of Thy Church, and grant unto her that peace and unity which are agreeable to Thy will. Who livest and reignest God forever and ever. R/ Amen.

They shall not partake of holy things, until a high priest shall arise for evidence and truth.  (Offertory for the Mass for the Election of a Pope)
